Fifth grader and amateur paleontologist Gordon Surefoot has an apprenticeship… the only problem is that it’s at his parent’s natural history museum, which has fewer exhibits than his last diorama from science class. With ticket sales at an all-time low, Gordon sets off to find a dinosaur specimen and discovers a triceratops tooth.

However, Mom and Dad are too busy to pay attention as they rush off to Utah for another dig. Alone in the museum and away from his health-conscious babysitter, Gordon fits the fossil perfectly into the baby triceratops in their showroom and—
